STUDIOS

Beats Antique Studios is located in South Berkeley on Alcatraz Ave. 
The renovated building has been host to diverse recording projects since 1955 with Sierra Sound Labs.  In the 80's Bay Records began adding to the history of the studio.  In 2012, bay area producers Beats Antique moved in to record a 60 piece orchestra (Awesome Orchestra) for their concept album A Thousand Faces.  Beats Antique added a sprung dance floor and 8 ft mirrors to incorporate dance classes as well as a big spacious live room.
